Applies for mechanical holes, but lectric holes are, er, different. Um, High Energy Magic. eighth colour an' all that.

As for the battery, these guys have a good product, I've used some myself.
Just email them with your vehicle info and they can fix you up.

To use Lithium Ion batteries such as those seems inviting trouble. The cells are running uncontrolled, with balance only at dealer service level. Have you ever had any problems, or is the real-world situation better than generally thought? Talk to an aero modeller and he will stress the need for charge balance, but watch the Ballistic vid and be convinced otherwise. Confused. Mike.

In a past life I was an aero modeller and I agree, even when balanced I would not trust the LiPo (Lithium-Polymer) batteries used in the hobby. I used to have to charge mine outdoors in a fire proof sack! But, the LiFePO4 (Lithium Iron Phosphate) batteries are much safer, I've used them in my '75 Honda cb500t and my wife's Invacare power wheelchair with no problems other than we ran the batteries too low in the chair one day and they never recovered. I do have the balancing charger sold by Ballistic and I do still occasionally pull the Honda battery and do a balanced charge. Per the charger its never really needed it though. The Ballistic Batteries web site used to have photos of classic cars here in the US using their products. Brian
