Well, you weren't real specific about "projects". Based on the name of this part, I could have posted pictures of restored banjos or my tomato garden. At least this project is somewhat on topic.
Any sim-sters on board? Two or three months ago my son talked me into buying Assetto Corsa, the racing sim ... and I whacked together what sim-sters call a "rig". It's not very elegant, but it gets the job done. I was able to fit a number of MGB spares into the build, including a seat and the steering wheel from my old race car. Simming is great fun ... and I was able to find and download a copy of a track I raced on a quite a bit, Bridgehampton which is now a golf course ( I HATE golf) on the end of Long Island, New York. My son lives about 1,600 miles away. This sim-stuff allows us to get together once a week and race each other over the internet, a VERY good time.
The white box seen below is a new modification. It's a wireless door bell and comes with 2 battery controlled buttons. I installed it to keep my wife from tapping me on the shoulder when I'm electro-racing. The first time she did that, I was concentrating VERY hard, cutting my was through a pack and never saw her coming and I soiled myself.
The bell works splendidly.

Have you tried Live For Speed. I've used it in a similar setup to yours and it is quite realistic. I've also installed the software into my own desktop PC.
