there might be a wee problem with any of these plates ,they are missing a Q at the start , no way are they going to retain either of mini or Toyota ids , tooooo many custom bits to get enough points , so me thing it will need a sva
please don't trash me for the truth???

I'm sure the Q plate issue could be worked round but is it not allowed to put a non age related plate on a "Q" car?
BTW Mr Smeg - lucky the one for sale isn't B11NKY wouldn't work on a 1980 car 811NKY FTW

Bugger, you are right - forgot about that little rule, it's why my 65 plate now carries an 07 private plate rather than waiting for 69 to be available (year I was born)

You could also frig the 2 ones to look like a 'O' so it spells BONKY
I don't know why you'd do that and I can't think of anyone who'd be uncouth enough to **** about with 2 ones to make an O anyway!

Child of the sixties eh? I can remember decimalisatio and when cadburys cream eggs cost 6p etc etc
What being this old does mean though is that you have VERY good memories of the madness that was Group B Rally Cars and this can only be a good thing.

You foreign lads and your private plates... we have got to have the dullest, most horrid non-transferrable plates on the planet. That's the Netherlands for you. Oh well, there's always the option of moving to Belgium or Blighty.
Lot 752?
