Hi there. Where can I buy the blue tool used to de-pin the electrical plugs in Episode 19?
Thanks

You know, I owe you an apology; after reading your post I though “he is just not looking hard enough”. How wrong could I be! I have looked in vain and can’t spot the particular model used, it appears to fit two halves together to close the tool (looking at the edges). I even zoomed in and did a screen grab of episode 19 where the tools are shown. Can’t make out the logo so I’m nine the wiser.
Nik, where the hell are these from?

Thanks "The Chief Smeg", yeh I had great difficulty finding that tool on Google. Hopefully someone can help. The tool looked like it made removing the pins an easy job. I have a 2003 Ford Transit van that I am doing an engine conversion on. I have removed the diesel 4cyl/automated manual transmission and am in the process of fitting a Holden Commodore 3.8L V6 (petrol) and 4 speed auto trans. Currently I am modifying the original Commodore wiring loom so that tool would come in very handy.
Thanks for the help

It's from Blue Point, but even I can't find it now. There are two "pairs" in the set. Snap-On do handled versions of the individual tools. Sorry!

If you're in the US the SirTools ST9024 and ST9025 terminal extractors are available from a number of resellers including ToolTopia. SirTools also makes a radio key tool ST9015, a file tool ST9026 and a mini pick tool ST9027 which are pretty sweet.
So quick update.. My Tooltopia order was cancelled for the ST9025, and most folks online appear to be out of stock. Emailed SirTools and they replied saying they were rebuilding after the Paradise CA fires. Should be late March 2019 for them to be back online.
