You know, the thought occurs Nic, if you think the ‘Safety Turbo’ is a little too powerful, you could always fit some sort of air restrictor on the inlet, just make sure you keep an eye on Rich when he tightens the clamps on the hose...

Simplest approach to keep the safety turbo from being interfered with might be to permanently connect it to the crankshaft. This might also reduce the dangerous effects of lag...
