I really did think that lockdown would give an opportunity for the chaps to make leaps and bounds of progress with Binky and that we'd have an episode a week to help keep(?) us sane.
Presumably they are largely at the mercy of the paint shop and its ability to get supplies of rainbow paint etc, although there are some non-paint things to do that could be done with just Ralph for company:
Rich set us up in episode 31 for the need for the engine wiring loom (quite literally a good shielding job)
We were promised that the rest of the wiring loom was to be wrapped and grommited (that is a verb - I just made it up)
The wheels don't seem to have been finalised
Likewise the brake system, which I assume still needs attention such as coating the calipers in lurid purple (/dull olive green) and finding some pads capable of stopping a 2 tonne Mini from Mach 1.27
Springs and dampers? Perhaps I'm over-thinking a bolt on task and obviously they can't set it up until everything is back on the car. Also istr steering arm brackets being welded on to the Toyota front dampers so maybe this is a refurb only (doubt it)
Re-making the wheel arch extensions (they said it, not me. I think they're fine.)
Ordering and grooming the fluffy dice
Hair cuts & general grooming
What jobs am I missing?
*edited after it was found out that 1) I couldn't count and 2) Episode 32 was released, covering off the 1st item on my list.

I think they've been getting on with Binky quite nicely recently - Ep 33? - I'm happily waiting for Ep.32! (this weekend!)
After all Ep 32 will be the 5th instalment this year not to mention a gearbox Howie did it, Ep.5 of Escargot and Outtakes 5
Not bad for 2 guys trying to run a business in a shed
Now what was that about keeping sane?

Sure enough chaps, my list needs to get longer - even though 32 was great (watched it twice just to make sure that Nik really did fabricate a charge cooler in 3 minutes and 12 seconds) and lots was done. Well, I say lots but I did watch a video of BMW making an S1000RR in a few hours and installing the whole engine loom took significantly less time than was spent road testing.
Given the flagrant disregard for "just money", do you think they will gold foil the whole Binky engine bay?

BRG would keep it 'sleeper'
Or Paddy Hopkirk - bright red with a white roof
What do we think the chances of a contrasting roof?

My colour of choice would be Honda Pirate Black - Well it does have S2000 seats!

Red and silver two tone - why not!?!
Due to the track of the GT4 and the fact Nick banded the steel concept wheels on the inside then I'm guessing the Alloys will have quite a high offset. There'll not be any deep dish slot mags here!
Your OZs could be a good shout

I hope so - although maybe white on white is a bit overkill? I just thought they might be right from a weight point of view and would look appropriate considering the car's likely performance without being too "in your face". I have an inkling that the Minilite look is more likely.
With you on the longer studs - as ever, we'll have to wait and see but it seems quite logical for it to just be an allowance for alloys.

I wonder if we'll get more Escargot before the end of time - but that's only based on extrapolation of the current work rate. To be fair, I have a suspicion that the design is somewhat dependent on Binky's tie-down arrangements and finished weight - and these have probably been only finalised in the last decade, so it's quite understandable. And it requires really big spanners so obviously there's going to be a need for longer tea breaks...

Much as I've enjoyed the Citroen antics (and they really did catch me off guard with the final episode "plot twist") I can't wait for some more Binky. Although it's going to be very special whatever, it feels like one of those films where they're just setting you up for the final chapter in which (hopefully) all the main cliff-hangers will be resolved.
I can't see that everything is going to be completed in this next one but wouldn't it be nice if it moved under its own power?
Fantastic, Mr Forsh! Now I'm wondering where "a little carbon fibre" might possibly live in the interior when so much has already been accounted for... Replacing the seat shells? Nah. New speaker grilles? Hmm.
Edit: I looked at the Trimworks "mood boards"(?) of BOM's Facebook page and see the CF mostly in the dash - which is nice. I hope they are making self-supporting mouldings using the original bits as patterns rather than just covering the Rover etc parts in CF stickers in boy racer fashion. Mind you, I'd imagine the wooden dash will have rotted to nothing through natural processes by the time they get to that particular challenge (beyond Ep.33). Time will tell.

I see Rich is playing with Jaguars now (for the MG?). I think this is a diversionary tactic and suspect that the government has forced BOM to delay the release of Ep.33 until after their latest stupid Brexit news as they know it may be the only thing that can boost the country's morale to viable levels. Devious.
