Hello followers of all things Binky,
I've been following this build from the beginning. I don't know why it never occurred to me to share it before.
This young man is well worth a look. His latest post is "Fabricating Custom Engine Mounts | Homemade Boat-tail Speedster Pt. 44", link below.

Thanks for posting that. Interesting stuff. The only thing that surprised me was that he didn't start with a piece of angle rather than welding 2 parts together. I guess it's a case of whatever is at hand.

That would have been a big piece of angle.

Impressive, nice design and well executed, the finishing could have gone a bit further around the bolt tubes, but overall a nice job, I liked the way he just tigged the gaps instead of farting about with little bit of steel.

If you like that you should check out the rest of the build. And...
Welcome to the BOM Forum!

Thanks Mr Cat, no likes on this forum then?
I have subscribed to his thread, but so many videos so little time it seems.
That's it, I've binge watched Binky and the truck now, not convinced that they couldn't have found a van body the right size and just extended the DAF chassis and running gear, cheaper and immensely less work.

Call me GRC, everyone else does! (Mr. was my Fathers name.)
If I understand correctly, no, there is no way to "Like" or "Dislike" a post here.
There is a Star system to Like the thread on the threads first page, top right corner.
