Hello everyone, my name is Carlos, I'm 22 and has the title says Im from Portugal (so pleae forgive my bad english  )

My daily driver it's a 97 Rover 416 tourer (my 2nd tourer, due to a crash I have sent my first one to the junkyard) it's a 1.6 petrol with 111hp , and has arround 140.000km  (87.000miles).

Well this tourer has bittersweat story behind her, i crashed my first tourer last summer going to a summer festival, and it got way to damaged to repair, so my girlfriend found one just like mine with a broken gas pump and some cosmetic/paint damage  that had been parked since 2005 for only 290€ (arround 200gbp) and (because she knows i have a soft spot for Rover tourer's) gave it to me has a present

Well my dad and I took the damaged tourer, repaired the pump and other small things from the "new" and it didn't took to long for it to be ready to be drivable once more.

When i saw it for the first time:

Since it arrived i have been making some mods to it, nothing to special, just some small things.

Here is the list:

-Ilumination

      -more trunk lights

      -rear view mirror from a Mg TF

      -ash tray light

-Rover 216 GTI side skirt

-Sound system:

    - Pioneer DEH-1600UB Stereo

    - front speakers  - Kenwood KFC-E1764 (200W) 

    - rear seakers - Sony Xplod XS-GT1328F (220W)

-Leather gear shift knob and gear shift cover

-Cristal side markers 

-Trunk lettering removed

-Stearing wheel badge

-Cassete holder modified 

-Arm rest drawer, cassete holder and ash tray lined

-roof painted

and probably some other things
