Terrific episode! As usual, the fabrication is incredible.

Can't wait to see more, and congrats on presenting the car at Goodwood.

Passing so close to the sump, the exhaust must be a candidate for severe heat transfer. Do you have plans to prevent oil over-heating? Heat shield and / or ceramic coating?

just to say, there not making a motor they already have a working one, the one in binky is a scrap one used for fitting purpose.

 You don't for one second think they'll transplant the motor "as-is" do you?!

Is it possible on that engine to do a dry-sump oil system, so as to reduce (avoid even?) the exhaust clearance/heat issue?

@SuperBuickGuy

All I can think of is...

Battery box and shut-off; exhaust header/turbo/down-pipe assembly; induction system (my memory is the old one didn't clear the firewall/steering gear); fuel, clutch and brake plumbing; plus the wiring for both chassis and engine management. biggrin

I would be tempted to, if only to test the suspension and drive-line mods made so far. (wouldn't want too many balls in the air!)

I just discovered the Project Binky video's on Youtube and I've watched them all. I'm thoroughly impressed with the workmanship. It's inspired me to get back into one of my projects, a 1966 Corvair 500 coupe that I've had sitting around for years. I've got a 1965 Corvair convertible, too (you can never own just one).
