Over here in the US and A just about the only access we have to the Le Mans 24 Hour is Fox Sports and its horrid. We also get some F1 events, but the coverage is horrible as well
They switch coverage aback and forth between FS-1 and FS-2 and in all the switching around, I lost about the last 2 hours.
We really don't get a lot of racing beyond NASCAR and IndyCar ... both are largely spec racer events now unlike years back. There used to be a lot of innovation here ... buts all gone in the pro racing cars.
... and (eeeeeeecccchhhhh) .... golf.
Does European Television cover motorsports any better than they do over here? Do they cover the smaller lesser known events?

yes we do get a good range of motor sports , super bike , touring cars with all support races , rally ,rallycross , off road 4x4 and bikes .
try searching for uk tv online a lot of the motorsport is on itv4 (itvplayer ( www.itv.com/)and channel 4 (4od (www.channel4.com/)
you will have to troll through all the stuff you don't want , btcc is on weekends
if you can get any of it enjoy
You are not wrong about Toyota, if they had not started their last lap that was a definite 2nd place in the bag.
