I'm new to the forum, but have been following Project Binky for a while now and have learned a few new tricks from the show.

Here's what I've been building, I picked up the remains of a Lotus Europa a few years ago and have been slowly turning it into a bit of a special.   Here's a pic of it as bought:

Europa as bought

I ditched the original frame (though it's still gather dust in the shed), and built up a spaceframe type back bone chassis with different rear suspension:

I fabricated my own rear uprights using VW Golf bits:

Built a set of headers and an intake manifold to fit some bike carbs:

I've also made up a pair of aluminium gas tanks, though they are colanders at the moment.  I need to fix a few small leaks and install the filler necks etc.

Fuel Tanks

And have done a bit too much bodywork (I really do hate fiberglass dust):

Body in primer

Lotus 47 style ducts

The goal is to have it finished for the spring (though what year is still unknown).
