NO , if that was the case it would have had a v6 or v8 in the back with big wings sprouting out front and back .
it was just a pair of loonys with a smashed Toyota and a rusty mini that looked and thought we could make a 4x4 mini

BL parts bin group B take one shopping trolley metro , cut a rover v8 in 3 ,weld 2/3rds back together ,put it in backwards 6r4 or as some right nutter did in rally cross replace the 2/3rds v8 with a tuned rover v8(8R4)

I did see a very nice mk4 5 door escort with a 3.9 efi range rover and manual box in backwards , it looked like a normal one until it started , open back doors and tailgate full access to the engine

We're huge fans of the GpB rally cars, but no Binky isn't really inspired by them at all. It's a very different proposition.
