Don't let Nik see those fancy long reach spot-welders.......he will have to modify them in some mad-scientist secret laboratory....then we will never see Binky reach a conclusion

MK1.. 

I just scored the BARN FIND OF THE CENTURY.. ( this and last century ) 

GENUINE .. Australia Made - Oct 1967 Mini Cooper S Mk1.. been off the road since Sept 1990

Started as a resto project.. but stopped years ago.. 

All dry stored.. all the parts.. all boxed - labeled.. with loads of NEW parts.. all the goodies.. 

got it for a bargain.. I have been chasing this car for awhile.. the owner finally gave in..

Body in great condition battey box.. and passenger floor.. small rust.. and a few minor dents.. 

 

But.. Have to finish my project 1994 Cooprer Mk6 before I start this one..

Front wheels out in the breeze like the '94 car will give terrible bump steer. But congrats on getting the Mk1 project
