1970 MG B GT3 Sort of.

Take a perfectly good ( other than the engine which was somewhat broken...in half ) MGBGT and then take a 1992 5.0 Mustang. Pull the guts our of the MG, the driveline and half the sheetmetal out of the Mustang and then drop the MG body, from a great height, onto the Mustang stuff and this is what you get !

Tired 5.0, AOD trans with shift kit and a 3.27 LSD. Mustang items used: ECU,radiator, pedals, brake booster and master, cruise control ( which works ) intermittent wipers ( works ), fuel tank and then some odds and ends from a 2000 Chevy Metro Sedan such as the AC condenser and evap coil, hood release and hand brake. Gauge cluster is from a 1994 Thunderbird because it's a long story why I don't still have the originals in. Oh, almost forgot, the Moonroof  is from a 2003 Jag X type and fits almost exactly the contours of the roof !

I love donor cars !

Dropped about 4 inches from Mustang stock with the engine moved down an inch and a half and rotated to the passenger side ( US spec ) about 10 degrees for clearances.

From non runner to runner in 9 months working about 40 hours a week and on the road for $4100 ALL IN !  Registered and insured.

Of course much more tweaking will be needed to make it less suicidal ( the bump steer is horrendous ) but it is fully driveable and reliable.

Turns about 6.2 seconds 0 - 60 which isn't great but it's enough.
