Hi guys, great to be able to come on here. Project Binky is an inspiration and a good kick up the bum to all of us with long term project... speaking of which...been 5 years for us to get it this far :/

Heres my 1978 Ford Capri X-Pack. Originally a 3.0S, me & a few mates have stripped it back and are going with Nissan CA18DET power plant with a mustang rear end. To keep to the theme Ive just had it painted (again as I got stung by a dodgy painter last year) in Nissan KT2 Gun Grey as seen on the GTR's. Hope you lot like it. Will have more pics as it comes on and hopefully if it gets some interest wink

The engine should be going in for good in the next week or sowink

Nick

(since replaced sump with a nice one)

Love the treatment of the roll cage at the a and b pillars, nice looking. Overall great look. Good choice on the engine, but I am biased.

Looks really nice Nick, cracking paint colour....

All except for what appear to be stretched tyres. I'm afraid that aspect of the car just disappoints me a little hmm no Sorry pal....

That's ok Jep, I know some people it does bother. I struggled to find tyres in the height needed to fit the 10s & keep the tread under the arch so they kind of worked out like that.

They grew on me over time, each to there own pal. If we were all into the same thing it would be a boring world right! ;)

Yeah, I wondered if it had been a compromise, as I thought any extending of the arches would have been done before the paint job!

Here's to individuality Nick!
