This is a long story of over 2 years so sit back put the kettle on. Go back two year or so I had to get a car fast and I need a wagon so I bought this over the phone unseen not even sure it drove but I just like the word Toyota Japanese import I had no clue what colour it was what year or engine it had I knew nothing. So I got on a bus and 3 hours later I saw it and it was good car and never missed a beat so I drove it for a less then a year and then someone crashed into me. My car being one of those cars the front bumper alone was going to cost me a lot to replace so I was just going to scrap it. Then it happened I need to get to hospital fast and I only had the wagon it got me there safely and fast. Suddenly I loved the car and started looking at all the different Toyota's that had the same chassis cause I was hooked I wanted bigger brakes more power but first the crash damage. My car is chassis AE100 after a lot of research I found out that chassis AE111 (Levin) is almost the same so I went of and got the wings bonnet bumper and everything else to make the front end fit my wagon. After that I started the bigger brakes. So I did disk on the rear as I had drums and twin pots on the front but before I could started the old engine started to smoke a common problem with this year Toyota but mine wasn't the common problem mine was piston rings in two cylinder had gone walk about I had no compression in one cylinder yet it went like a rocket. So new engine time oh what to get this took a while as I had everything lined up but I picked a Silvertop 4AGE 20V more on that later. I got the engine dropped it of to were the car would get its new engine went to leave and about 4 miles up the road bang lost all drive first I thought the gearbox had gone bang as it did before so I got a 6 speed LSD box turned out gearbox was good my clutch blew up. Then it happened the while its apart I will do this and things have snow balled from there so more pictures and what some more text as to what the car is now and what it will be. Now the plan is to drive it again for a while then turbo it with a supercharger just for fun and that's why I picked the silvertop its a strong engine and can take bosst
So what as been done so far that I can remember GR6 rare disk brake axle GTZ Levin front brakes and suspension 4AGE Silvertop engine 6 speed LSD 15" cheap wheels Levin front side skirts and rear spats also from seats Oil cooler and a lot more but my mind is blank
