Five of the closest ever race finishes

Thought this would be interesting to share https://www.carkeys.co.uk/news/five-of-the-closest-ever-race-finishes?76542rH

Mine favourite is definitely the close finish from this years Daytona 500 race, 0.011 seconds is ridiculous!

What's everyone else's favourite race finish?

That Indy Lights finish was incredible, but it will always be the 1986 Spanish GP that will stick in my mind.

I'm not certain, but I think 2016 was the closest Le Mans ever. Good effort on Toyota's part.

For old times sake I hoped Ford had a bit extra for the end and bag a 1/2 finish in their class. I was in my teens when they ran the GT40's. I couldn't buy enough magazines and newspapers to soak it all in. And THEN I discovered F1. Although cash was tight for a young man of 14-15, I subscribed to the New York Times and Road & Track magazine just for the F1 coverage.

How I miss Rob Walker's reports ... and Denis Jenkinson's as well.
