I understand the concerns for space within the mini, however there is a rather hot 3inch exhaust under the car would it not be a bad idea to heat shield wrap the exhaust? considering how thin the floor may or may not be. also it promotes better heat into the turbo if you only do it from the block to the turbo,...

Seeing as the boys are going to run 13" wheels, my thinking is the tyre circumference will be rather less than that of oem Celica tyres. This means revving the nuts off the Toyota engine at normal motorway speeds. Makes for nice acceleration but also increased petrol consumption and a lower top speed...

I'm learning loads, so it would be interesting to see where the sum of the parts are assembled from. Where are the window mechanisms from, where did the fuel pumps come...

Shouldn't the new (snazzy and bijou) alloy tank have an earth strap - to protect against Pump/Sender/Wiring problems which may cause the tank to float (!) up to 12V? After all, it is sat on foam strips, and that sort of "heat damage" won't buff out with T-Cut....
