Project Binky

KneeDeep · KneeDeep

I had always assumed you guys were going to stick to the stock 3S block to stay within 2.0L displacement for rally regulations. Then, in the Q&A video you said firmly, again, that Binky would be a road car and wouldn't be allowed in any rally races. So that made me wonder if you'd considered using a 5...

Blimey, that is a hell of a compact radiator system they’ve got going there. Love be the bit after the credits (as usual).

Hi there. Where can I buy the blue tool used to de-pin the electrical plugs in Episode 19? Thanks David

Kiwi Paul · Kiwi Paul

I expect it somewhere around the end of February, to cover instrument panel, sound system, wiring up doors, wipers and all the other stuff. Engine? not for a long time

It just HAD to be done.

Happy Christmas to one and all. May the season find you all well. I hope St, Nik has bestowed many new tools in the workshop, and perhaps a new kettle with untold numbers of biscuits. And a Happy Boxing Day to the staff! Be well and prosper in the New Year and may the road rise to meet you and the wind be al...

Excellent as usual just one thing though. when using drill bits the bigger the bit the slower you go. chuck should be hardly turning for the large drill bit otherwise it just skips over the metal rather than cutting into it. noise made my teeth itch. looking forward to part 2. You know the guys added some mounting points to future proof the car “just in case (they) needed to add a cage at some point in the future”? we know how far in advance some of this pla has been so I think I may have worked something out. i,m really loving this series, I feel I have learned a lot just watching the progression. Got the hat, got the mug, don't got the key-ring - where's the key-ring guys? Fellers the world over would be proud to drive around in their scrap-mobiles wearing a Binky key-ring on their ignition keys, so why ever not? Besides which my dinky little floating lifeboat key-ring just lost the last link...

Not with standing the need to go with the celica diameter to maintain the gearing and brake clearance, are you looking at being totally celica stock with the style and size of the wheel or are you planning on larger wheels and lower profile tyres? There are lots of trolls and spammers on the Net. We are being pestered by one of them. I am aware that Nick, Rik and Rex are very busy with car projects, and making videos about them.
